Check with the Corgi Registration centre as whoever fitted the fire should have informed them and you should check his own registration. Always obtain receipts for work carried out in your home.

yes its perfectly safe to do so. as long as you have a cowl on your chimney to prevent birds falling down and rotting in the flume...lol..i know that sounds daft but you won't be able to access your chimney to remove a dead bird! my hubby is a kitche...
